Introduction
Rocks are everywhere! Our world is covered in rock, in fact our world is one great big flying rock! But do you know much about the different kinds of rocks?
Let’s be rock hounds and see what we can find out.
     The Task
  1. Name the 3 rock groups.
  2. Be able to explain the rock cycle.
  3. Name 2 kinds of metamorphic rock.
  4. Name 2 kinds of igneous rock.
  5. Name 2 kinds of sedimentary rock.
  6. Write a paragraph about 1 type of rock.
  7. Take the Rock Expert Quiz.
  8. Look at a picture of an unusual rock and share 2 facts with the class.
